Each piece of art has a home. The craft of finding that home belongs to the art consultant. Kristae, through years of work coordinating interiors for custom home builders, an artist and gallery owner has honed the skill of finding the right home for art.

By offering personal showings and consultations, Kristae can work with each client on a personal basis to define the best art for a particular space. Whether buying art for the home, office or commercial space it's important to select works that not only "go" with the decor, but complete the space.

By bringing local art buyers and local artists together, Kristae helps build the Omaha art community and develop a regional market for quality artwork by midwestern regional artists.

Artist Representation

aVENue Gallery represents talented artists in Omaha and the surrounding areas to a group of select art patrons and midwestern regional galleries. Great artists are the cornerstone of any gallery and aVENue is proud to represent some of the midwest's finest.

As an artist's advocate, Kristae finds the appropriate setting for each artist's work. Whether this is a private home, an out of town gallery or a commercial space, the primary goal is to make the art and the artist seem like it belongs nowhere else.

History

aVENue, gallery of original fine art, opened in January, 2004 in Omaha's Dundee neighborhood with the idea that retailing original art could be reimagined with creativity, intelligence and a respect for each artist's vision. The brainchild of daughter/mother team Lissa Hase and Kristae, aVENue combines community and conscience with a savvy for the business of art.

After three successful years at the Dundee location, Kristae closed the doors on the gallery for the last time in January, 2007 and rededicated her efforts to connecting Omaha and midwestern artists with regional galleries and art patrons.
